VISION
To provide due care to the helpless and destitute senior citizens in the society and even those neglected by the family or did not get proper care due to poverty, so that they live as valued members of the society with a peace of mind before going to their eternal home.
MISSION
To Ensure a sound and friendly environment for the needy helpless and destitute towards achieving a promising peaceful conditions for them fostering their physical, mental, social and spiritual development and wellbeing as well.
Purpose of the project
To ensure access of 50 destitute senior citizens at Swami Vivekanand Vruddharashram to give them safe accommodation, tender love, proper care, health service and other basic needs. Also provide gainful employment to the working staff their as means of managing facility.
About Us
Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Technical and Education Society, Nagpur is established in 1983 by our founding President Late Shri Krushnaraoji Kumbhalkar and founding Secretary Late Dr. Yogesh Kumbhalkar. The purpose of the Society is to provide educational and social developmental services to address the challenges of the underprivileged strata of the society. To empower people through quality education especially to women, youth and handicapped person. To organise awareness cam- paigns, advocate for social cause, collaborate with Central and State Government to effectively drive various social projects. To inspire and create awareness in public about the social evil practices to the common people. To promote welfare of various government schemes to the beneficiaries.
Society runs social work colleges, primary & ashram school, technical workshop for physically challenged students, senior citizen homes and many more projects to take a note for. Society has pledged to grow exponentially in coming years maximising the impact of its work and generate more employment opportunities.

For 10 years I've been active in the social sector and working with CSO, one of the substantial real-life challenges in 2020 is that many old people are being abandoned by their family. The numbers of such cases are devastating and show our failure as a society. Such problems do not exist in developed countries.
That’s where our society decided to take action and established this facility where we aspire for the empowerment of destitute old aged people. Since 1995, we are running Swami Vivekanand Old Age Home Facility, Savner, Nagpur assisting hundreds of such old, abandoned, and abused people the love, care, and dignity they deserve during the second innings of life. We are constantly striving to ensure better facilities, help distressed senior citizens with counseling and medical facilities, and provide everything required to live a happy life further. We share a bond of true love and relish our time as one family. I consider myself truly blessed for having this platform of opportunities to serve elderlies. We take immense pride in running this facility and pledge to make this a model for seniors citizens home in the coming years.

Our Facilities
Infrastructure
We have independent facility away from the city in the lap of nature. We've separate wards for male and female inmates with clean washroom. We've separate recreational lobby, reading room, kitchen & dinning area, medical room & huge garden .
Recreation & Entertainment
At the centre, we have television with satellite channels, active internet connection and indoor games facilities like carrom, ludo, etc. is also made available for their entertainment. Regular newspaper editions and books are also provided to inmates.
Food,Nutritions & Kitchen
We all know, post 60 years of age one need nutritious and healthy meals to build better immune and stay fit. We provide daily three (03) fresh meals to our inmates as breakfast, lunch and dinner also evening tea/snacks are served.
